Connect Claude (web and Desktop)

Add IMMA AI as a custom connector in Claude and sign in with OAuth, without an API key.

Claude can connect to IMMA AI as a custom connector. You sign in with your IMMA AI account, so there is no API key to copy.

Before you start

  • You must be an Owner of the IMMA AI workspace. Members cannot approve a connection.
  • The server URL is https://api.getimma.com/mcp.
  • Plans: according to Claude's help article, custom connectors using remote MCP are available on Claude, Cowork and Claude Desktop for Free, Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise plans, and Free users are limited to one custom connector. On Team and Enterprise plans, Owners and Primary Owners add them (on Enterprise, some custom roles may also be allowed). Mobile availability: not verified.

1. Add the connector in Claude

According to Claude's help article, on Pro and Max you open Customize > Connectors, click + Add, then Add custom connector, enter a name and the server URL, and continue through the authentication settings. On Team and Enterprise plans, an Owner adds the connector under Organization settings > Connectors, and members then connect it in Customize > Connectors. Menu names can change, so follow the official Claude guide linked below.

2. Approve access on IMMA AI

  1. Claude opens an IMMA AI page. Sign in with Google if you are asked to.
  2. Choose the workspace to connect.
  3. Review the permissions. Leave posts:publish unchecked unless you want the app to publish without a person approving each post.
  4. Click Allow. You are sent back to Claude.

Keep approval on

Without posts:publish, Claude can create drafts and send posts for approval, but it cannot publish immediately.

3. Try it

Ask Claude: "List my connected accounts." Then: "Draft a Threads post about our new rendang jar and send it for approval."

Disconnect

In IMMA AI open Developers > MCP and click Disconnect next to the app. Access stops on the next request. You can also remove the connector in Claude.
